Clear out any existing Portal Invites within Salesforce, then generate & share a new one.
In this example, we'll clear out any pre-existing Portal Invites that might have been generated. Then we'll generate a fresh invite and share the URL with our potential user. Let's get started!
First, visit the Contact page for the individual who needs an invite.
Under Quick Links, hover over Portal Invites.
Click the 🔽 at the end of each Invite record.
Select Delete and continue until the Portal Invite count is zero.
Visit the Contact page for the individual who needs an invite.
Click the 🔽 in the top-right corner.
Select Send Portal Invite from the dropdown.
Contact should receive an invite with their unique link, at their specified Email.
If the member is having trouble or can't find the automated invite email with their unique link, you can copy the link and send it to them directly.
Under Quick Links, hover over Portal Invites.
Find the most recent Invite that you just generated.
Right-click the Link and select Copy Link Address.
Paste this into an email or chat and send to the Contact.
Be sure that you don't CC anyone other than the Contact and don't use bulk/group messages. Links are unique to their respective Contacts, and should not be shared with anyone else.
